Chance for a Better Life was founded in 2003 with a simple but powerful mission: to provide quality education to children living in the most impoverished and neglected areas, where access to education was nearly impossible. Where children often had no choice but to work or roam the streets instead of going to school. We believed that education is the key to unlocking a brighter future—and through this belief, Chance for a Better Life began its journey.
Moved by this challenge, we started small, forming groups and bringing together specialist teachers to provide lessons and guidance. With a deep commitment to making a tangible difference, we also sponsored some children to attend reputable schools, offering them the opportunity for a brighter future.
Operating from a humble wooden structure, we worked tirelessly to create a welcoming space for learning. In addition to education, we recognized the importance of health, so we provided a medical container to support the community’s well-being.
By the end of 2016, we achieved a significant milestone: the construction of our own community center. This new space marked the beginning of an era of expansion and greater impact. In 2017, we proudly established our Montessori kindergarten, complete with a playground designed for holistic child development.
With this new facility, we introduced a broader array of programs, including English language courses, crochet workshops, and mathematics classes. These efforts allowed us to help more children than ever before and marked the growth of Chance for a Better Life into a cornerstone of educational and community support.
